How long would it take to change out an engine and transmission on a 2000 Toyota Celica GTS

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Jessica Howe, Automotive Expert & Coach at AskPatty.com

Hello,

Swapping out an engine and the transmission is going to take an average of two to three days. Both services can be labor intensive, particularly on front wheel drive models. The time frame and cost are going to vary depending on who is doing the work, how experienced they are, and if anything else comes up along the way. Good luck!
