Or i could purchase an 08 ford fusion with 169,873 miles with 2 minor accidents. Im just not sure an older car with less miles or an newer car with high mileage, which one will last me longer. Hello,

Most of the time I would suggest that you choose the vehicle with fewer miles and no accidents. If you want the newer vehicle due to its updated features, you will want to get a pre-purchase inspection performed by a trained technician. They will look over the entire vehicle top to bottom and check for any signs of potential issues in the near future. We always recommend a pre-purchase inspection before any car purchase, but in your case it may be even more necessary in helping you make the right choice. I recommend you pick the one you like the best and take it to a Certified AskPatty facility or a AAA Repai Facility or an ASE Blue Seal facility and have a pre-buy inspection done. Then you will know if it’s a good purchase or not.
