Hello,

There are several components that are used to help regulate the vapors that are present when fueling up. One of which is known as a "purge valve" or a "purge valve solenoid". Your vehicle may need a new one. Only further testing will tell. Have your vehicle examined by an AskPatty.com Certified Female Friendly automotive repair center near you for more help with diagnostics.
