Where is the light failure sensor on a 2001 Celica located?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Jessica Howe, Automotive Expert & Coach at

Typically a light failure sensor is located in the trunk of the vehicle. They are often located under the liner of the trunk lid, or the side panel where the electrical wires for the rear lights are routed on the driver's side. Your particular model does not show that it has a light failure sensor, and that the Celica stopped using these sensors around 1990. Thank you for writing in and good luck.
