I just had my cars radiator hose serviced antifreeze put in ,a week later the car was getting smoke coming in from vents on leaking ,but had it towed home on antifreeze /water in radiator, put some in and leaked out, they tell me it is a heater core. is this expenseive to repair

Thank you for writing in. The heater core can be hard to get to, which can may it a labor intensive repair. While purchasing a new heater core may not be horribly expensive, the installation process is likely going to cost you more. It will be worth your time to price shop for the best rate, and to also have a second opinion about where the leak is coming from.
