I recently had my ignition replaced (about a year ago) dealership saying coil needs replaced. Does that make any sense. Isnt coil a part of ignition?

Check your records to find out what work was done during the last repair. If the coils were replaced a year ago, you need to find out what their warranty was. Otherwise, the spark plugs and wires may have been the only parts replaced during the previous repair. The component you put the key into and turn to start the vehicle is also known as the "ignition", and there is the possibility of getting those two confused as well. Good luck, and thank you for writing in.
