How much transmission fluid does the transmission holds?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Jessica Howe, Automotive Expert & Coach at

The transmission fluid capacity will depend on the type of transmission you have (automatic vs. manual), and it will also depend on your engine size. Without this information we cannot tell. You will want to look in your owner's manual for the transmission fluid capacity specific to your model. Your vehicle will likely hold around 3 quarts. Good luck.
