Bought car, drove 10 miles home w/ no problems. After, every time I take the car out the engine dies about 1 to 2 miles of driving. Won't restart unless I shut off ignition and restart.

Hello,

This may be a tricky issue to find if you do not have much vehicle knowledge. When the engine stalls you are missing power, air, fuel, or spark. if you have not already scanned the vehicle for diagnostic codes, this is a good place to start. Even without a check engine light, there may be a diagnostic code stored that will help point you in the right direction. If you have not already looked into the mass air flow sensor, and the related intake sensors, this is also a good place to start. Failing camshaft and crankshaft sensors can cause the vehicle to stall as well. This will likely be a process of elimination if you are not able to get the problem to trigger a diagnostic code. Codes can be scanned by a technician or at most local automotive parts stores.
