how much pressure in the spare tire in the trunk?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Jessica Howe, Automotive Expert & Coach at AskPatty.com

Hello, the spare tire may or may not be a full sized tire. The pressure you want to fill it to will depend on the type of spare that it is. The best option is to read the side of the tire for inflation instructions. Air pressures are measured in PSI, and that is the unit you should look for on the side of the tire. Your owner's manual will also have this information.
