Hi, I own a 2004 Buick LeSabre that has a little over 10,000 miles. I want to get a tune-up but not sure what all is required and what do you estimate the cost ? Also, what all will be done?
Thank you for writing in. There are several components you will want to check at 10,000 miles, but that doesn't always mean they need to be replaced or serviced. 10,000 miles is not a lot, and you want to focus on keeping everything in as good of a condition as it is now. Check and change the oil if needed. Check the air filters, for the engine and the cabin air. It may also be time to rotate your tires, check the brake pads, and check coolant levels. The best place to find recommended services at all mileage is your owner's manual. This maintenance schedule is the best to follow, as the engineers who designed your vehicle put it together for you.
Pricing will vary depending on where you choose to take the vehicle. Considering there will not be much that needs to be done at only 10,000 miles, you should not have to spend much more than you would for an oil change. Call around for pricing to ge the best deal.
