I have the abs light on . Changed the front left ”which was the cause“, but the light is still on. I’ve changed the tires today and found a strange piece broken next to the abs sensor. It does have a small battery and a chip. I want to know what is the name of that part. The car is 2010 Toyota Camry le And thanks

The ABS light turns on for a wide variety of reasons. The best way to determine what is wrong is to have the vehicle scanned for diagnostic codes, which will tell you what particular problem the warning light pertains to. Use that information to help guide you towards fixing the problem. If it is related to the part you found, you will likely find a code for the ABS light that stands for a miscommunication from that sensor.

It is incredibly hard to say what the part may be without seeing it, but from what you describe it may be part of the tire pressure monitoring system. There is a small key shaped part with a battery which sends a signal to the computer relaying the pressure of that tire. It will be black and is called the "tire pressure sensor".

Good Luck!
