What do the trip indicators mean on dashboard?
Hello,
There are two different ways your car "clocks" or keeps track of the total number of miles it has driven. One is called the odometer, which keeps track of every mile put on the car since it was constructed. The odometer can not be reset, and will continue to count miles as long as the car drives.
The second way your car counts miles is with the trip indicators. You can use them to count the miles from one place to another. Usually you have more than one, and these can be reset. You can reset them at any point in time, and they will start to recount from 0 miles. Customers use this feature for a number of reasons including keeping track of oil changes, counting road trip miles, calculating travel distances, and more.
