I need some advice on reusing my winter tires on my from my last vehicle. I have an F 150 with 235/70R16's. I have a set of 215/65R16 's. already mounted on s set of universal steel rims. There are Goodyear winter tires on them. Is there any reason that I can't use the narrower tire on this truck? Both are passenger tires and the truck only does light duty driving, especially in winter.

Hello,

Thank you for writing in. You should have no issues running your smaller winter tires. Make sure the rubber is in good condition, assure the tread is deep enough to last the winter, make sure to have the tires balanced, and have the vehicle aligned. While they may not make the truck look as good, they are perfectly fine.
