I am a college student in my second year. In June, I bought myself a used 2005 Ford Taurus. It been working great. No problems what so ever. Than about maybe a week ago, i noticed that my gas pedal was vibrating. I did not think about it much because it did not happen often. Then today, I was driving to school and everything was fine. However, when I was driving home, I noticed that the vibrations were happening a lot more, my car had trouble going up hill, had a hard time going or staying at one speed, and the car seemed to not stay in the middle of the road. Before I bought it (i think in April), all the break lines were replace, the transmission was rebuilt, and new cables were replaced as well. Last thing, there is only a small vibration in the gas pedal. No noise or anything else.

Hello, thank you for writing in. Most of the time, if you are having issues with your pedals shaking, it pertains to an issue with the tires, wheels, brakes, or suspension. Considering it is your fuel pedal, you want to start by balancing your tires. During that time, the tech can inspect the suspension components behind your tires, and make sure nothing looks worn or broken. If your suspension is fine, look to the engine for excess shaking. If this was the case, you would typically feel it in more than just the fuel pedal. Only further inspectioni will tell. Good luck.
