2015 EOS is garaged, and when driven, mostly just around town for no more than 30 to 45 miles a trip. While I was away , it sat for 6 wks. without being driven. After I returned, it started up fine. I drove it around town for a couple of days, putting the top up and down with no problems. Got in on the third day home, inserted the key and tried to start. Car dashboard lights come on, flicker, starter clicks, and lights sometimes dim, but engine will not turn over. The first time, it tried to turn over. Now it is not even trying to turn over, even after hooking it up to another car with jumper cables and letting it charge for over 30 minutes. The indicator on top of the battery indicates it's okay. I'm able to put up the convertible top without the car started. It seems it is something else in the electrical system...??? Any suggestions about what to check?

Hello, thank you for writing in. There are several components that can cause these types of issues. Most commonly, with your symptoms, you are looking at an issue with the charging system. The first step should be testing your alternator and battery regardless of what your dashboard reads. If you have not changed the oil, you should do so right away as well. Make sure the electrical connections to the battery, alternator, and their grounds are clean, dry, and tight. If you need help with testing the charging system or looking into further issues, contact a local Certified Female Friendly service center. Good Luck!
