How often should the fuel filter be changed on Impala LTZ (2013)?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Brandy Schaffels, Editor at AskPatty.com, Inc. Hi Lynn, The fuel filter is not an item that is typically replaced as part of your regular preventive maintenance. I checked your vehicle owner's manual and could not find it in their recommended maintenance intervals. http://www.chevrolet.com/content/dam/Chevrolet/northamerica/usa/nscwebsite/en/Home/Vehicles/Cars/2013%20Impala/Model%20Overview/02_pdfs/2k13impala.pdf The fuel filter is internal to the fuel pump module, so it seems you would change it when performance is being affected by a clogged filter. You can find an AskPatty Certified Repair Shop at http://www.askpatty.com/search/?type=all&m=30&q=&keyword= and they can help you diagnose and repair the problem.
