I have a 1989 Toyota Camry and the windshield washer doesn't work. Where should I start?

1st off - listen to see if you can hear the pump. If you hear nothing - that would be a good place to start.
If you hear the pump - look to see if the nozzles are plugged up.
Good Luck!
Have someone activate the windshield washers and listen near the reservoir. It should make a low pitch humming sound. If there is no sound, it may not be getting the correct voltage to be activated (either the switch is bad or there is a wiring issue).
If it has power, the windshield washer pump may have gone on strike.
If there is a normal sound coming from the washer fluid pump, there may be a broken or clogged washer fluid line or nozzle that needs to be repaired.
