My Ford truck tires are 275 70r18 if I went with a 17 inch rim. What's the biggest tire size I could go with?

Hi Joe,
The 17 size cross over for your vehicle is 295/70R17 you could probably put a 315/70R17 on it but it would need to be fit checked prior to fitting all four. You also need to verify the 17 wheel will clear the brake caliper on your Ford some of the trucks were boosted to the larger wheel so a larger brake could be used on the truck. You didnt give the model or year of the Ford or if the truck has stock or lifted suspension so its kind of tricky picking oversized tires without having the truck and doing some measurements.
