I bought a 2014 Dodge Avenger brand new, last July. It is the most basic model with no extra options. My oil changes have been on a regular basis, every 3000 miles and always on time. Yesterday, while driving, the car started to randomly make the "ding" noise that plays when the gas light comes on or when the driver doesn't have a seat belt on. It would only make the noise when I went around a sharp turn or stopped suddenly. None of the warning lights ever illuminated though. I started to check the fluids and found there was pin hole size hole in my oil filter and there was only a drop of oil on my dipstick. Why wouldn't the oil pressure light illuminate if my oil leaked out that much? Also, whenever i drive long distances, the tpms light will start to blink occasionally and then wont come back on again until i drive a long distance again but i have checked the tire pressure and haven't found any issues. I don't understand why the low oil heeded no warning but the tpms light continues to come on unnecessarily?
