I have a 2007 BMW 750Li that I bout cerifited pre-owned about 5 years ago. I heard some noises and they said it my be the "Gubio" something around the drive shaft. A week later I was drive and the car would not drive and the transmission light came on and the car would not go into gear anymore. I had it towed to the BMW dealership here in Atlanta and they quoted be $8900 to have a new transmission put in with a 2 year warranty. I have priced checked and other places say $3500-4000 for a rebuilit. Does this sound reasonable?
