I plugged in a portable heater and now my 12 v port won't work on my 1999 Mitsubishi Galant. Is it possible that I blew a fuse? If so how do I find out where the fuse box is and which one is blown?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Amanda J. Pierce, MBA Tim, Yes, it sounds like you may have blown a fuse. You can typically replace the fuse labeled AUX to repair your concern, in which your fuse box may be located under the dash on the drivers side or behind the glove box. Some models also have the relay fuse panel under the hood near the fire wall.

Gelina Aquilina, Service Advisor / Mechanic at Check your owners manual, it'll tell you where & exactly which fuse needs to be replaced.
