I have a 1999 Dodge Durango i runs for 15-20 min. and dies.

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Helaine Kurot, Owner/Technician at 360 Automotive Well, that makes driving interesting. There are a few things that can cause a vehicle to die out after running for 15-20 minutes. It could be something as simple as a battery or alternator. It is possible that the fuel delivery system (fuel pump) is weak. It could be something in the ignition system overheating and shorting out. There may be a sensor that is providing a bad signal to the vehicle's computer. You will be much better off having a technician properly diagnose this issue than you will be trying to throw parts at it until the problem goes away.
