Should I keep water or coolant in the overflow reservoir on my 1995 Toyota Camry? It's not over heating but I noticed full and low marks on the reservoir, which was rather low, not quite empty.

Gordon,
Yes, you should have coolant to and not PAST the full mark on your coolant reservoir.
You should keep a 50/50 mix of coolant and water in your vehicle. If it is showing low in the overflow, you probably need to add coolant. However, when you do, keep an eye on it for a while. If it continues to go lower, you should have the coolingsystem checked for leaks in other areas.
It's ok to top off with water but antifreeze is best.
Hi Gordon, About you 95 Toyota Camry: Use a 50/50 mixture of coolant and water. The reservoir will read lower when the vehicle is cool. The reservoir will read higher when your vehicle is hot (been running). If you need to add wait until the vehicle is cool. Do not add when vehicle is hot. Good Luck.
