I have a 2009 Volkswagen Eos with all the lights turned on but the engine won't start?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Amy Mattinat, Owner and Author at Auto Craftsmen Ltd Greetings Casillas, If your 2009 Volkswagen Eos is a 5 speed manuel transmission, make sure the carpet is not jammed up under the pedals. It could be the clutch pedal is not engaging because of the mat. It could be there is something wrong with the charging system, or the fuel system. I recommend you have it towed to your repair shop and have them diagnose the problem.

Barb Petrey, President - DBK Enterprises Inc at Jiffy Lube Odds are you need a battery. Have your battery tested to check. A battery life is 3-5 years.

Gelina Aquilina, Service Advisor / Mechanic at Hi Carmen, sounds like it could be your battery or alternator. Look into having your charging system checked out.

Helaine Kurot, Owner/Technician at 360 Automotive Does the engine crank at all when you go to start Volkswagen Eos? There are many possibilities with a no start, including anti-theft issues. You will be much better off taking it to a shop that specializes in Volkswagen and has factory level software to properly diagnosis and repair the issue.
