My 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid with less than 6800 miles: "the vehicle's automatic transmission has a leak; leaking from case". There always seem to be a problem with this car not to mention the horrible service provided by Ford dealerships. What is the track record for this vehicle as far as repairs?

However, if it is blaently dripping on the ground under the vehicle that is a cause for a dealership visit. I have not heard of any prominent issue with the hybrid because the model is so new. You can contact Ford Corp. to see if there is anything they can do.

Generally speaking, these vehicles are put through significantly more testing by the manufacturer before they are released to the market for sale. Plain and simple, the manufacturer can not afford to have massive errors with these vehicles. The end product is generally a very well made vehicle. Most, if not all, hybrids meet California emmissions standards and as a result are covered by a 10 year, 150,000 mile warranty, reguardless of the state you bought and registered the car in. That said, because of the high voltage systems on these vechicles, you are limited to who can and will work on them. There is a whole different skill set and tool set for safely working on them. If you have not noticed any issue with your car, I would take it to another shop for a second opinion. A good repair shop should be able and willing to put your vehicle up on a lift and see if there is in fact fluid leaking from somewhere. They should be willing to show you what is going on leak or no leak. Keep in mind, they may charge a fee for checking the vehicle and may not be able to repair the vehicle. If you wish to stay away from the dealer, you will need to find a shop in your area that specializes in hybrids, or at minimum has a technician trained and equiped to service them properly. Hopefully, the technician that serviced the vehicle is just looking out for you to avoid larger future issues. There should be a number to contact Ford directly in your owner's manual. At the very least, they may be able to recommend another Ford dealer that may be able to provide a better experience for you. Have any old repair orders with you when you make the call, as Ford may ask for information off of them.
