My Ford Edge has begun to leak oil in or around the bottom fairing and or cross member. There is no indication of leak up top or on motor itself, but there definitely is a leak dripping and then blowing rearward from travel. Is there an oil cooler within the radiator? I am at a loss as to where the leak is generating from.

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Amanda J. Pierce, MBA Tom, You should have your vehicle inspected thoroughly if you have no obvious visual leaks. Ensure that your valve cover gaskets are not leaking down the back side of the motor, or that your oil pan gasket needs replacing.

Barb Petrey, President - DBK Enterprises Inc at Jiffy Lube Could be a loose oil drain plug or when the radiator is cool, open up to check if there is coolant in the radiator and/or oil mixed with the coolant.
