Hi I have a 1999 Dodge Durango and my AC blows out hot air and no air blows out the front vents I went yesterday and brought some antifreeze and that got it a little cooler for about 10 minutes and I went right back hot again what can the issue be?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Amanda J. Pierce, MBA Tonya, Adding antofreeze to your cooling system is not related to adding freon to your a/c hvac. If you added freon and had cool air out of the vents for a short time. I recommend having a dye injected for a black light to pinpoint your leak source. You may have a faulty compressor in which the condensor and orfice tube should be replaced in conjunction with.
