As I accelerate, my Ford F-350's engine is making a rubbing noise, could this be a camshaft issue?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Barb Petrey, President - DBK Enterprises Inc at Jiffy Lube The camshaft is inside the engine. Take it to a qualified mechanic.

Helaine Kurot, Owner/Technician at 360 Automotive Its possible. You may need to take it to a shop and have them pull the valve covers to see whats going on. At that point, they can see if there is an oil issue, worn bearing issue or something else mechanically going on.
