I replaced the radiator on my Dodge Intrepid and then it started knocking and now it won't turn over.

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Helaine Kurot, Owner/Technician at 360 Automotive It sounds like the motor locked up. If the radiator was cracked, it is possible that it was caused by excessive pressure due to a blown head gasket. Check the oil and the coolant levels. If the oil looks like chocolate milk, the head gasket is most likley the root cause of your issue. Pull out a spark plug and see if there is fluid in the cylinder. If the head gasket leak was bad enough, it may have hydrolocked the motor.
