While topping off the power steering fluid grabed the jug, and without looking, it had clean antifreeze in it. I started to pour, seconds later I realized and stopped but a small amount went in the reservoir. If u have ever put p.s.f in a car like this its ridiculous.
What could come of this?

Laramie,
Thank You for writing into AskPatty!! To address your concern, if indeed it was a minimal amount of anti-freeze in your P/S reservoir, you can you a turkey baster (yes, a turkey baster) and extract the amount currently in the reservoir. Replace with fresh power steering fluid.
Hope this helps!

Dear Laramie,
If you started the vehicle and the fluid went into the system, then you need to have the power steering system flushed. If however you haven't started the vehicle and you can remove the fluid out of the reservoir and clean it, you may be okay.
These two fluids don't mix and may do damage to your power steering system.
