The car will not start. We have charged the battery and think it's got to be the switch. Can we roll it down the driveway and pop the clutch without hurting the electronics? We will have to get it to the bottom of the driveway anyway for it to be priced up if it ends up being towed....just wondering if we could bypass the towing.
You should check your owner's manual to see what they recommend.
It may be that the battery is bad even though you've charged it. If you have a meter you can check it. Put the meter on V and it should read 12.6 when the vehicle is not running. When you try to start it if it drops to 10 or so, you have a bad battery. Of course this all depends on whether you have a good starter or not as well.
