I am looking for a new vehicle. Below are those that I am considering. I drive 20K miles/year, commute 60 mi/day round trip and live in WI so deal w/ ice and snow. Can you give me any feedback on these models, what I should know, how to compare, etc? I will be selling or trading my 2006 Hyundai Sonata w/ 117K miles.
here's what I am looking at: (in no order of preference)
1. Subaru Outback - lkg @ a 2011. Your opinion of the lineartronic CVT transmission? I felt there was quite a bit of engine noise.
2. Subaru Forester
3. Honda CRV - new model for 2012 - any concerns ?
4. Hyundai Santa Fe - may be able to get a 2011.
5. Toyota RAV 4 - any concerns about past recalls? Thank you in advance for your help.
