My 98 Honda Civic needs bumper fix. What would be the best price estimates for new both front and rear. I got range of 600-700 incl. paint for new and just fix 300. Is that too high considering fact that I do not want to invest so much on my car?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Geralynn Kottschade, Vice President at Jerry's Body Shop Inc. Shruti, The price sounds about right - Without seeing the car, and depending on your location prices will vary. Just be sure to take a reputable repair store, and remember cheap is not always best.

Jennifer Justice- Haley, Body Shop Owner/Operator at Co-Owner of Elite Collision Service, Inc The prices sound more than fair to me. Although aftermarket bumpers can be very competitive with O.E.(original equipment), paint materials costs along with increasing EPA regulations keep shop costs rising all the time.
