Recently my 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser stated making noise from the rear. I have heard that there is a manufacture problem with the gears loosing teeth, and that the dealerships are reluctant to cover under warranty. How can I verify this problem so that the dealership will honor my extended warranty?

Jessie L Thatcher, F&I and Sales Specialist at Reynolds and Reynolds Company (Retired) Go online to the Toyota website and research recalls or just call a toyota dealer ask for the service department and inquire about this recall. It is to their benefit to let you know what your vehicle needs as they are compensated by the mfg. for any repairs.
