Currently I own a 2008 PT Cruiser 2.4L Turbo. Should I hang on to it or venture into a Volkswagen Tiguan? Does Tiguans bluetooth work as well as Pts U-connect? Any glitches with the 2010 Tiguan SEL 2.0 Turbo??

Joanne Helperin, Director of Consumer Marketing, Blog Editor at, Inc. Hi Donna. The Tiguan is a great step up from the PT Cruiser, which can be found in a lot of "fleets," like at airports and doesn*t get a whole lot of respect overall (though people who drive it typically love it). It*ll feel very luxurious by comparison. Of course, the most economical thing to do is to hang on to any car you own and drive it into the ground - but what fun is that? :) There ARE less expensive alternatives than the Tiguan, but if you*ve got the money, the Tiguan is a great car with an award-winning engine. I haven*t seen any reports of any turbo "glitches" per se (though every car has some issues). I know this sounds obvious, but make sure you*ve test driven the exact engine you*ll be buying. Be sure you*re OK with any turbo lag, shifting, etc. As for the Bluetooth, I don*t have any direct comparisons and haven*t tried them both out myself. Hope that helps.
