2004 ford 5.3 motor turns over but injectors not firing. I just put motor in my 66 ford. I put the original harness for the new motor on 66 also, but did have all plugs unplugged to transfer. So what would not let injectors work?

Dana Schaeffer, Director of Business Development at Chop Shop Customs It could be your fuel pump . What you want to do is get a flow chart and go from the fuel pump backwards and check everything along the way. You want to try to to diagnose the problem as if it is the 66 Ford not the 2004 Ford. Hope that helps.

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Jeff, It could be many things. As you know, there are a lot of things to re-connect when replacing an engine. Did you check fuel pressure? It's possible the fuel pump is not working or connected. Do you have the tool to check the injectors to make sure they're getting a signal? I would start here first. Hope this helps. Lori Johnson
