My 1995 BMW car comes up with EML lights with other lights like ABS. Can you please tell me what might be the reason. And how much it may cost me to get it fixed.

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Amy Mattinat, Owner and Author at Auto Craftsmen Ltd Raj, EML = The electronic throttle management of your BMW. This controls the throttle, electronic cruise control, traction control and stability control. ABS = The anti-locking braking system. both of these lights are indications of safety issues. You should take your BMW in for a proper diagnosis and repair right away.

Amanda J. Pierce, MBA Raj, There are many auto parts stores that can hook a diagnostic scan tool to your vehicle for free. BMW*s may be a special vehicle so call around and ask first. It is difficult to diagnose without knowing the true cause of the warning lights being set.
