A 7 seater under $10K would be a high mileage
Used SUV. I do not know of any 7 seater that is new that would be in that price range.

The best Deal on 7 seaters are the Ford Explorers with a third row seat. You can still get one 70K 2004 or newer for around 10K. They are dependable and low maintenance and they come with a 6cyl so they get decent gas mileage. Stay away from the 4X4 get a 2WD.

Unfortunately with that budget, it may be very tough to find a new option that seats 7 people that is not a minivan. I would look at used wagons and SUVs, for example: Acura MDX, Volvo SC90, Chevy Suburban, GMC Yukon, Toyota Highlander.
Most of those are prices over 30k new so finding one at 10k used will be a challenge, but there may be some out there. If you truly want to spend less AND seat 7, you will probably need to look at minivans. A lot of minivans are valued less but actually offer a lot of cool amenities. You really might want to check them out. I think you might be surprised. Or look at your budget again to see what you can add to it.
