My 03 dodge caravan sport, twice now it has stuck in gear, after pushing on the gas peddle it finally starts to drive. both times it has been a cold day, so is betsy getting old and needs a little more time in the am, or am I heading down headache ally?
I would need more information about Betsy to give you any advice. I suggest you take her to an ASE Certified Automotive Technician to have the symptoms diagnosed so you will know what needs to be repaired so it won*t get stuck in gear anymore.
Ask the technician to let you know the overall condition of this vehicle and you want to know if it is solid enough to warrant investing anymore money in it - or is it time to trade it in and get a newer vehicle to drive.

I am sorry, but there is a need for deeper explanation of your concern .
When was the last time the transmission was serviced? Is the fluid level correct? Chrysler has had many different problems with transmissions over the years. There are several things that could be wrong with yours. Without more information it is hard to say what it is. It could be a torque convertor problem, a computer problem, the transmission itself or just an incorrect fluid level. Your best bet is to have a qualified technician look at the issue. It is the only way to be sure.
