Hi!
I cannot get my o2 sensor off my 98 jeep wrangler. tried warming the engine, borrowed the wrench from autozone, even tried some liquid wrench (was replacing it so I figured it did not matter) I am not a weakling but I cannot make this thing budge!. The car is not on a lift, I just slide under. is my body angle not right? this is just too silly not to be able to budge this. the car has 160,000 miles and this is what my code reader says is the problem. I know it could be something else that the sensor affects but I figure go obvious 1st. (am also replacing the air filter).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
thanks,
dawn

Dawn,
o2 sensor are prominent for being seized, I recommend trying a product called, "PB Blast" its a penetrating oil that has worked well for me. Be careful not to break the o2 sensor off, you will then have to replace the exhaust system. You may also try to use a longer ratchet handle for leverage.
