Answers from the Automotive Experts

Bogi Lateiner, Owner and Technician at 180 Degrees Automotive Hi! There are many many things that can cause a check engine light to come on. If the vehicle does not seem to be behaving any differently, than it is probably safe to continue driving until you get a chance to have it checked out by a certified mechanic. You can always have the codes read for free at most auto parts stores, however you should know that most repair shops will want to scan the faults themselves when you bring it in. Sorry I could give you any more specific information without looking at it. Good luck! Bogi Lateiner
