This may sound like a strange question, but do extended warranties cover batteries?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Suzanne Grego, Technician at City of Philadelphia Fleet Management Mar, Batteries usually have a separate warranty when they are purchased. If the battery was in the car already when you bought it, it's usually considered a maintenance item - like an oil change. However, if you just bought the battery a month ago, and it's bad already, they should replace it. Suzanne
