I have owned and operated an auto repair facility since 1984, and have been asked to put together some information for a class for women. An information session for female customers to become more savvy about regular maintenance, repairs, pricing, checking their own oil and fluid levels. basic stuff. This would be a program for my customers as well as any other interested parties. My question is, what do women seem concerned about during a visit to get an oil change, to having a repair done. I am not with any car dealer, new or used. I am simply trying to get useful info to my customers without information overload for them. Can you help me? Thanks, Larry

Patty Streeter,  at The biggest concerns for women are: 1. Treat Women with respect 2. Explain needed repairs in terms they can understand and make an educated decision. 3. Listen without interrupting to questions and/or concerns about repairs or needed maintenance. 4. Trust is by far the most important factor to the female service consumer, and convenience is secondary.
