To whom it may concern,
Dear Madam/Sir,
An airbag is designed to protect and provide safety.
On left front impact in an accident in a Volvo s40 station wagon my left wrist was broken by the imploding airbag. The fracture is so severe that a year later I need to return for surgery to try to improve mobility and lessen the continuous pain.
I am considering claiming for damages and would like to know how I go about addressing the matter.
I unintentionally caused the collision by turning right in front of a speeding oncoming car in a built up area.
Thank you Kindly

You need to contact your attorney for this one. The air bag may have broken your wrist, but it also may have saved your life. You and your attorney can decide if you have a legitimate case.
Hi Theresa,
If you want to claim damages to Volvo you will need to talk to a lawyer.
I'm sorry to hear that your wrist needs more surgery, but I just wonder what kind of damage "turning right in front of a speeding oncoming car" your body may have occurred if the airbag of your car had not gone off?
