First of all, love this site! Thank you!
Do we REALLY need to get the car maintenance packages that are recommended at certain mileages?
And if so, I am always concerned they (the dealerships) are just checking things that really do not need to be checked, which of course increases the cost of the package. Should I just get over it?
Preventive maintenance is truly the key, if you stay on top of the condition of your fluids and follow the manufacturers recommendations on servicing then you are above the average behavior of most drivers on the road. It is a great thing to have a handle on the condition of your vehicle and be prepared when repairs are due.
