car not starting on the first try?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Vivian, If the car is trying to turn over, then the battery is most likely okay. I would suggest that you have the fuel system checked. It could be that there is a problem with the fuel pump or that the injectors are not working properly. It may also be a problem with the vehicle's computer giving bad information and causing a no start condition. You should have a technician run a complete diagnostic test to find your problem.
