do you need brake fluid flushed and how much should it cost? Also, fuel induction system cleaning. Is that necessary and at what cost? Replacing plugs-Iridium 41101 and wire set #700950,fuel filter #23311 and labor should cost? Replacement of rear brake pad set Hardware kit ED698 and rear disc rotor BD122596 .This is a list of repairs and maintenance work my mechanic wants me to do at this time I have 100,000 miles on this vehicle. His cost for these repairs is $828.00 Is this a fair price?
Brake fluid should be flushed. When it's new it's practically clear. Once it becomes a brown color it's time to change it.
I would say to have the injectors cleaned if you are noticing a driving performance problem, otherwise, you probably don't need it. My vehicle is 20 years old and I've never done it.
As for getting prices for these repairs, check out this website, it's free.
Hope this helps.
