Do you know of any classes like "Ladies Start your Engines" in Central Illinois? I am looking for something like that for my 15yr. step-daughter to take before she is allowed to get her Driver's License. That way she won't burn out the engine like her brother before her. I have looked into the local Comm. Coll. and alternative High Schools (this year they are sending all the Juvenile Detention students there) and she doesn't qualify for their program, nor does it seem like the appropriate atmosphere. Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated!

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Sharon, It is tough to find classes for women. This is why I started my business. I would suggest that you try looking into adult education classes being offered on nights and weekends. Many times they teach classes in automotive. Your daughter isn't a girl scout is she? If so, they have a car care badge to earn and must take a class for that. Just so you know, I travel. Maybe we could help you get a class going in Illinois. If you go through my website we may be able to help you do this. Good luck. Lori Johnson
