How would I change the (automatic) transmission fluid in my Saab?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Bruce, Looking at the procedure, I would recommend taking this vehicle to a Saab dealership for new transmission fluid. There are 18 steps to changing it. It's more than just draining it and filling it back up. So unless you have a service manual and the tools to do this job, it may be best to let the professionals do it. It's not worth the chance of possible damage. Lori Johnson
