I am driving a 2000 Grand marquis. I would like a newer car with better gas mileage, sporter and all wheel drive ?? Maybe small Suv or car. I want some of the bells and whistles. I am open for anything 25k or less but can go up. Thank you

My favorite SUV right now is a Honda CRV,
my favorite small car with great gas mileage is a Honda Fit.
To find the vehicle that matches your wants and needs you need to ask yourself some basic questions and start making lists.
-How many people will need to be able to ride in the vehicle with you?
-What type of "stuff" will you need to be able to put in the vehicle (dog, bikes, kayak, tools, etc.)
-Do you need 4 wheel drive? It is less expensive to buy and maintain and 2wd vehicle, but some of us really need 4wd to be safe on the road.
-How much time do you spend in your vehicle on a weekly basis. If you spend a lot of time in your car, you want one that is very comfortable and has the extra bells and whistles to make the time spent in your home on wheels pleasant and cozy.
-Do you car if the transmission is automatic or manual?
Once you have a good idea what you are looking for, then it*s a good idea to test drive the vehicles that fit in your category to narrow down what you will be spending money on.
Nothing is worse than buying a car and then finding out that you find the seat uncomfortable.

Ford has a Fusion SEL with sync, keyless entry, auto headlamps, climate control. Extra perks would be sirus radio, leather interior, and moonroof. Gas mileage on highway will be around 30 with a 4 cylinder and city around 25.
